Booking, programming and running a room

I perform, and I also put nights together — finding the right players, keeping a session going week after week, and making sure the room is worth coming back to.

Irish sessions and venue programming

A session is not a gig with extra people. It lives or dies on who is in the corner, whether the tunes are the right ones for the room, and whether the same faces come back next month. That takes someone running it.

I coordinate traditional sessions and put musicians into venues — recurring nights, one-offs, festival programming and stages that need filling with people who will actually turn up and play well together.

  • Recurring weekly or monthly traditional sessions
  • Choosing and booking the right players for your room
  • Festival and multi-act programming
  • St Patrick's season and one-off Irish nights
  • Sound, set lengths and running order sorted before the day
